Fondant vs. Buttercream
It depends on the design and style of cake that you want, as to whether fondant or buttercream will work better. Buttercream we can do some really cool textures and incorporate some colours into the design. Buttercream you can also get a really nice clean, smooth finish. Fondant provides a very smooth matte finish, that allows for very dark colours, embossed textures. It also holds up to heat better. If we do fondant, it's a thin layer overtop of our delicious buttercream.

Cake Care
Our cakes keep best in the fridge but taste best at room temperature. Pull it out of the fridge about 1-2 hours before you eat it. Ensure the cake isn't in direct sunlight or in too hot of a room.
Leftover cake can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days, or the freezer for up to a month.
Tiered cakes are divided with a board and supporting dowels. Some decorations have internal supports such as skewers or wires, so take care when you are cutting the cake or eating the decorations. If your cake has fresh flowers, they are not edible. Please remove them before cutting the cake.
